These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Quasar Minecraft Launcher ("Quasar", "the Application", "we", "us"). By downloading or using Quasar you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not download or use the Application.
You must be of sufficient age to form a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction. Quasar is a desktop application for Windows that provides Minecraft instance management, mod and content installation via Modrinth, skin management, and Microsoft account authentication. Quasar is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the Application itself at any time without notice or liability.
Quasar uses Microsoft's OAuth 2.0 flow to authenticate your Microsoft account and verify your Minecraft license. By signing in you agree to Microsoft's Terms of Service. Quasar requests only the minimum permissions required to authenticate your Minecraft profile. Your credentials are entered directly on Microsoft's servers — Quasar never receives or stores your password. Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device only.
You agree not to use Quasar to:

Mods, resource packs, shaders, and other content you install through Quasar are provided by independent creators — we make no guarantees about their safety, quality, or compatibility.
